Convergence EMEA 2008 – HighlightsThis year saw Microsoft® return to the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark for its annual Convergence conference (18-20 November 2008). Monaco Telecom implements Microsoft Dynamics AX with Avanade support.PARIS, France – 24 November 2008– Avanade, a global IT consultancy, today announced the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX at Monaco Telecom. As part of an Information Systems restructuration, Monaco Telecom decided to replace its back office, as it was obsolete and composed of dispersed “bricks”, by an integrated ERP. Monaco Telecom was searching for a flexible, scalable and easy-to-use ERP solution. Thanks to Avanade, Monaco Telecom managed to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX in record time.
Porini goes back to being Italian.GRUPPO 300Sessanta has acquired all outstanding shares of Porini Srl from Blue Fox Enterprises NV. Upon completion of this transaction Porini goes back to being Italian again. In the process, it regains full possession of a name that has been well known throughout the textile world for 40 years and especially presents itself in full growth, with a share capital increase.
Two customers 'live' and new implementation projectIn the past month two Quadreon customers, Mepa and De Saedeleir Textile Platform, went 'live' successfully with their new Microsoft Dynamics AX IT-platform. Kronos, that decided to cooperate with Quadreon earlier this year, recently initiated the implementation project.
Avanade Belgium Expands with Acquisition of QuadreonAcquisition consolidates Avanade's position as Leading Microsoft Business Solutions Company.Avanade, a global IT consultancy, announced today it has acquired Belgian Quadreon, a leader in implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. Financial details were not disclosed. The acquisition enables Avanade, which is dedicated to using the Microsoft platform to help enterprises achieve profitable growth, to continue to address the growing demand in the Belgian market for flexible, integrated, next-generation ERP systems and further strengthens the company’s position as a global leader in implementing business solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics. The acquisition, effective immediately, doubles the size of Avanade Belgium. All of Quadreon’s staff will be retained in the transaction. Quadreon Executive Partner, Arno Visser, will assume responsibilities for helping to grow Avanade’s Dynamics AX business in the region.

ITMA in the rearview mirror.The internationalization and globalization of the textile industry was definitely reflected at the 15th edition of ITMA in Munich. The international exhibition platform for textile machinery attracted a record number of 118,000 visitors form 149 countries. Also for exhibitors Quadreon and its software partner Blue Fox Porini, ITMA was largely successful.
Quadreon implements ERP system at StoraEnso to support their newest online service for package design and ordering.By implementing a Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP platform, Quadreon will support the entire back office of a new eBusiness service of StoraEnso from Lier. This online service will enable companies as well as consumers to design and order packaging, drinking cups, CD cases,. After implementing the ERP system, a large part of the business processes up to production and shipment will be automated.

To make use of a system with even more functionalities, Escolys was to upgrade their existing Mainstream environment to another IT platform.
