Logistics, Textiles and Project & Service Management ERP

Quadreon's ERP implementation methodology for Logistics, Textiles and Project & Service Management.

ISO certified implementation methodology

Of course, you want your IT project delivered on time and within budget. But you also want your software to closely match the needs of your organization. Quadreon has the answer for you.

PMI standard to define methodology

Quadreon has defined its own project management methodology using concepts and knowledge from the renowned Project Management Institute (PMI). Each Quadreon ERP implementation goes through a Project Life Cycle consisting out of five project phases:

  • scoping
  • prototyping modelling
  • assembly and business preparation
  • migration
  • project close-out

Each project phase focuses on the fact that we build upon the vast amount of readily available functionalities of the software package Microsoft Dynamics™ AX. This package-driven approach reduces project time and budget drastically.

You and your employees are closely involved in each project phase and guided by our consultants with years of experience in your business. As a result our methodology accounts for a structured knowledge transfer so you can fully leverage all possibilities of your newly implemented ERP solution.

You can check the current status of your project and all project documentation (per phase) online at any time via our advanced PMTalk web tool.

1. Scoping - starting off with a clear goal

A clearly defined scope is crucial for the project's 'time and money'. From the start we indicate the right scope, the right goals, the right teams and experts and the right planning. So there are no surprises in the end.

2. Prototype modelling - your proof-of-concept

A gap analysis between the standard Microsoft Dynamics AX modules and your business requirements shows what standard blocks can be used for building a fully functional prototype according to your specific needs. Our consultants talk to your people and suggest, drawn from their experience, new ways to better organize your work. You can test drive the prototype right away and adjust all communication discrepancies in an early stage.

3. Assembly and business preparation - making it work like you want

Detailed analysis is only required for the extra functions to be programmed. They are assembled with the standard building blocks and thoroughly tested. Meanwhile, we train your key users to test drive the final solution, and approve it.

4. Migration - leaving the lab

We carefully prepare and map every step of the migration process; from the existing system to the new one. We install hardware, software and the production environment and transfer all static and dynamic data. Then your new system goes 'live' in your operational environment.

5. Project close-out- life-long support

We organize a customer satisfaction survey, together we discuss all lessons learned to further improve our methodology and we take care of all final administrative arrangements. Going 'live' is also the beginning of a new, important and lasting phase; support and maintenance. As carefully planned, four to eight weeks after the 'go live', we definitively hand over your project to our specialized support organization (AMCC).
